message of day 239

'He (Gabriel) instructed me and said to me, "Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding. As soon as you began to pray, an answer was given, which I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed. Therefore, consider the message and understand the vision: ......'
Daniel 9:22-23.

Read this passage this morning, it catches me a lot about praying. Usually, I have thouhgt prayers are times talking to God, times revealing our hearts.. Sometimes, we ask things that we don't understand and ask for more revelations. Here the passage says, God reveals what will happen in the end times to Daniel, an answer was given when Daniel began to pray. The comfort was that, i believe in praying to God because of His faithfulness that He will give an answer, so faith itself, is not a blind faith at all in this case.

But read more carefully for the whole passage, there is a very good teaching about how to pray and draw near to God......

^"While I was speaking and praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel and making my request to the LORD my God for his holy hill- " Daniel 9:20

it was speaking, praying, confessing my sin and sin of my people and making request for His Kingdom. A very fruitful message for the day, strengthens my faith in action---prayers.
